UPDATE: NMC Ride Has Been Postponed
Thank you for your interest in the New Moon Century.
In light of circumstances beyond our control, we regret to announce that we have officially postponed our annual bike ride until Spring 2011.
We are still committed to organizing a community ride to raise awareness and funds to help alleviate hunger in Los Angeles.
We will be sending you more information on the ride as soon as we can!
Thank you again for your interest in the ride and we look forward to seeing you at other JConnect sponsored events in the near future.

Happy New Year and Happy Sukkot! It is only TWO WEEKS until the New Moon Century and we hope that you and your riding friends will join us! 2010 NMC routes are posted, one of the most exhilarating rides in California! We are riding to not only have a great and challenging ride – but also to raise awareness and money for fighting hunger in LA. Let us know if there is any info you need or if you have any questions!
Updates:
- We WILL be able to park at the ride start (Deer Hill Park) and we have made some other improvements.
- There will be a delicious lunch picnic at end of race.
- Riders will get numbers and be timed
- Ride route already posted
- Staggered start, route swept at 1pm and riders brought to celebration picnic!
- Top of the line professional communication equipment and first aid station
- all riders can get sponsored by friends/family to raise funds for fighting hunger!
PLUS
if you are part of a group (Temple, synagogues, non profit, business) you can have your group recognized as a partner – ask me for how!
Owing to certain logistics we are doing two routes a 100km and 58 km. They are fully supported, and we will have a SAG vehicle.
